Member of Parliament, Ms. Georgina Jolibois put out a pamphlet to promote the idea of making Indigenous Day a National Holiday. This is a terrible idea that needs to go away. Ms. Jolibois doesn’t explain why we should do this but I’ll start telling you why we shouldn’t.
This will be an excuse to promote racism, false history and victim mythology at taxpayers’ expense. The bill for this prolonged propaganda is already too high. It puts a small group of Canadians in a special and false status. Georgina decorates her pamphlet with a white feather, an infinity symbol and a pile of stones.
The infinity symbol was used at the Seven Oaks Massacre that was an event that ocurred in one of many fur trade disputes between competing fur trading companies. The sides were fueled by the Hudson’s Bay Company and the North West Company who used their employees to fight each other. In the resulting violence the black servant of Governor George Simpson was one of the murdered . Hardly a noble page in Canada’s History
The pile of stones or inuksuk are a classic marker of direction for Eskimoes who had no street signs. One such is proudly displayed on the flag of the Territory of Nunavut . On the flag the stones are formed into a Cross showing the importance of Christianity to the diverse Indian and Inuit tribes that make up this youngest Territory established in 1999. It is a Christian symbol as much as is the St. Andrew’s Cross on the flag of the Province of Nova Scotia. Nova Scotia is one the oldest settlements in Canada dating back to Samuel de Champlain in1604 . Christianity was and is the rallying point and unity force in the oldest and youngest legislative assemblies.
The White Feather is the symbol of the Bought Indian of the Liberal Party of Canada. It is a political and nouveau - pagan symbol of the people who invented Traditional Indian Religion. It dates back to circa 1966 when Communist Liberal Lester B. Pearson heavily funded a resurgence and invention of non- Christian events such as Pow - Wows, Potlatches et c. It was a misch- masch of Christianity , New Age , Demon worship and Anthropology - Native Studies 101
The purpose was to wean the native people from their devotion to Christianity, from their love and loyalty to the missionary, especially to the heroic, tough and pious Oblates of Mary Immaculate. Communists always despise Christianity and always attack the Church whether it is in Spain, Russia or Canada.
At Stanley Mission I witnessed a Saskatchewan Federation Indian take - over of a funeral . The resentment of the Native Anglican Priest was vocal and obvious. The White Feather is the Tool of political sycophancy for the $250,000 plus employee, who represents no one except the wishes of the NDP- Liberal Party.
Many natives came to Canada fleeing political and murderous oppression from the Blue Coats after the Civil War in the U.S. That also is similar to the history of the Ukrainians, Doukabors, Mennonites, Poles and Viet Namese and others. The Forty- Ninth Parallel was called by the natives who were not native to Canada the Medicine Line because North of that line was safety . All of us can celebrate our common freedom and strength on the same day. It is Dominion of Canada Day or Confederation . The date is July First.

Real Scandals: The FSIN

Just because the media constantly repeats the word “scandal “does not mean there is a scandal . I first noticed this in John Gormley’s book, LEFT OUT . Gormley, to make himself acceptable constantly refers to the Devine government’s “ fraud scandal.” He never defines what was the fraud or what was the scandal. Everybody knows the NDP in their return to power hauled a lot of Tories to court, fined some and jailed some . There was no crime involved except the misuse of the judicial system for political purposes, not counting buying a computer instead of a typewriter, or advertising with a signature saddle instead of a round of booze in the union hall. I have experienced their kangaroo courts only I was not allowed a court, not allowed a defence but was ordered to “go directly to jail, do not pass go.” I chose to go to the Prime Minister’s constituency office instead.
The non- scandal of the Mike Duffy alleged scandal is the current point. Mike Duffy was told he was allowed an overpayment of $90,000 . Therefore he had to pay that amount in 30 days. Even for a well heeled senator $90,000 is hard to come by so he borrowed money from a friend and associate. Not having too many NDP or Liberal friends he went to a fellow Tory. The rest is ad nauseum.
Some Saskatchewan and some federal politicians ever quick to protect their own political hide and not so quick to launch a defence and a reasoned solution started hollering “ Abolish the Senate.” That is like hollering abolish the police because one policeman that some body knows might have been on the take. If the house is a mess you clean it up you don’t burn it down. The appointed Senate has been used as a refuse for political party bag men most, totally unelectable. Once in the Senate there is not much to do except rubberstamp bills sent there by the government party that put them there. Getting a big salary plus expenses is just part of the job. The Liberals never ever blow a whistle on their own. They expect similar loyalty in return. Tories are an irascible lot. They like being independent and doing things. Therefore some Tories start making other Tories look bad. The major huge overpayments are actually from Liberals who have been quietly at the trough for a long time. The solution is an Equal to each province, Elected, Effective Senate just as Mr. Harper stated before becoming Prime Minister.
Perhaps the media especially the CBC, always Left and MACLEANS who have riveted back to being the official organ of the Liberal Party of Canada, should tell us the facts and let us decide if it is scandalous.
There are some issues that are not only scandalous in my opinion but are a serious threat to the existence of the Dominion of Canada as a free and democratic country. Obama’s spying is the most obvious. Much more about that later we trust.
In Mark Stein’s book, LIGHTS OUT he says the Liberal plan is to divide North America into ethnic groups controlled by a central force. What is not known to many is how far this scheme is developing.
Before me is a few of many pages from the web site of the Saskatchewan Federation of Indians. They have their own Legislative Assembly, Senate, Cabinet of Secretariates now at 12 departments, Constitution and elections- very selective elections. Their government is as complex and as large as the one in Regina. I don’t know about their number of civil servants. I have asked the provincial Minister of Finance, Ken Krawetz to let us know how much of yours and our tax payer dollars is given to this so called “nation “within a nation. One thing is certain it is not self financed by natives. Stay tuned.
Let’s get a few political hype terms out of the way.I. Natives per se ARE NOT first nations. Many of the tribes in Canada came across the Medicine Line after the Civil War in America ( 1861- 1865 ) The Medicine Line was their name for the 49th Parallel, the boundary between the U.S. and Canada. Once they were North of the 49th.their health , that is their chance of survival was much greater. They were fleeing the Blue Coats, the U.S. Calvary to the safety of the Queen and the Red Coats ( North West Mounted Police now RCMP ). There were a whole lot of Nation building before 1861. It makes as much sense to call Scots, French, Irish first nations.
All the babies born in our village are registered as Canadians whether or not their parents are treaty, non- treaty, white et c. Canada always has had the policy that the last group or individuals who became citizens of this country have the same rights and responsibilities as any other person or group regardless of their lineage.
II. Another Huge Myth is native groups get all this tax payer money because of Treaties. There is nothing in any Treaty between the Queen and an Indian tribe that justifies the public financing of the Federation of Sask Indians. To criticize this boondoggle of unaccountable power is not 1. Racist or 2. Against any Treaty.
A Treaty assumes both parties give up something and pick up some responsibilities. Native peoples many of whom were actually Metis ( mixed white and native) became Canadians and were compelled to follow the laws and responsibilities of Canadians. They had also the same rights as Canadians including the right to educational choice, freedom of religion, freedom of expression, due process in court and freedom of association. The FSIN is not only a huge bill to the taxpayer it is a serious encroachment on the civil liberties on natives and even metis. They are now daring to speak on behalf of the metis and working to put them in their apartheid snare. They are also encroaching on the freedoms of all Canadians because they claim to be a nation that can dictate to the nation that is paying their bill. Don’t forget the first person who fired the shot against the Riel Rebellion was a Metis, Jerry Potts

The Triplication of the Welfare State

Can we afford the triplication of the Welfare State? On reserves there is child and family services, welfare services, public housing and more which serves the same purposes as the provincial counterpart, mimics their policies and repeats their failures. FSI wants to be every Indian’s educational controller and wants equal provincial funding with non- reserve schools, plus complete federal funding pluse funding from the bands from various departments. Now the Metis Associations are jubilant because they believe that the Supreme Court Decision that stated metis are a federal not provincial responsibility means that they can build an equal bureaucratic empire duplicating and replicating the same mistakes, mismanagement, degrading privacy invasions and human control as the provincial,and band empires. They believe it will generate wealth because more of them will get high paying government jobs running the lives of fellow metis. WHOA ! BACK. RETHINK.
Government never generates wealth. It only redistributes it. High paying government jobs means there has to be a pool of poor metis who are kept poor to justify the high paying government jobs.of other metis. No one knows how many people are metis. The ambitious hard working ones forget about being native, or Scots, or French and get on with running farms, ranches, businesses, raising families, being scientists, engineers, inventors and performers.They’re not ashamed of their native heritage but are ashamed to accept privileges not accorded other Canadians.
Yes it’s true that $120.00 for a strip of prime farm land on the Red River which now includes the City of Winnipeg is a very low price in hindsight. Yes it’s true that metis have suffered poverty not of their own making.but many metis did get more. When my great-great Uncle, Rev. Malcom Scott , himself a metis with a native wife, saw that the metis and natives in the Athabasca area were starving he lobbied Ottawa to make them Treaty. The missionaries serving and founding Stanley Mission and La Ronge did the same. These people had already received Scrip but they needed help so they were given Treaty Staus. Therefore most Treaty Indians are as mixed “ white” as official Metis.
The Chinese were the main labourers of the Canadian Pacific Railway. On the average one Chinese died for every mile of this great railroad which united and expanded Canada. They were paid such a low wage that others refused the job. The Chinese throughout the years have helped build Canada in many ways.
The Ukrainians fled Communism, were accused of being Naziis because they were forced to work in German factories by Stalin, yet volunteered to fight for Canada in WWII in a higher percentage than any other ethnic group. They carved prosperous farms out of bush forest and rock when they started with nothing.
The Doukabours were so poor their wives did the work of oxen when necessary. Their leader was killed in Canada by Communist agents. They were pacifists but they fught for survival and prosperity. They established fruit farms, canning factories and farms on the prairies.
No group has more reason to be angry at Canada than the Vietnames. Communist Prime Minister Pearson was complicit in the aggression of Communism in Korea and neighbouring countries. He refused to help stop the Viet Cong . His protege Trudeau approved of the slaughter of the North on the South in 1975. The Vienamese arrived by fishing boat, had nothing except memories of murder, rape, hunger and fear. They have built businesses, strengthened the Catholic parishes, and became academic leaders . A Vietnames who came to Canada who did not know French or English is now the Chief Engineer at the Canada Space Agency replacing my brother after his death. One Vietnames wrote a book which described living in Canada as FROM HELL TO HEAVEN.
The Metis for 500 years have been the explorers, the trappers, the Church missionaries, the constant liason between the white and the Indian helping both survive. The Sask. Metis Assoc. is simply another Liberal- NDP front funded by the tax payer. My credentials of Metishood are impeccable and recorded. I tried several times to become a member of the local Metis Association in La Ronge and area. Each time I was rejected Why ? Metis ancestry does not count. Being useful to the Lib- NDP is the key. I am, of course, disqualified. The Metis Assoc. have their very own passports which is the property of the Assoc.and can be revoked at any time. The Quebec separatists to my knowlege haven’t dared try this one. The Metis Assoc., like SFI want to build a nation funded by the nation of Canada. They want to create power blocs to split Canada into ethnic chunks. This will destroy Canada and make us vulnerable to a world elite. The members and leaders may not know this but the socialists who began funding them certainly do.
This metis wants no more and no less rights and privileges than any other Canadian. Canada owes us nothing. We are Canada. Gay
