When we came to Brabant Lake twenty- five years ago the place was inundated with drugs. The local teacher and her boy friend would go to La Ronge on Thursday evening, and start selling marijuana from the teacherage on Friday. Literally one would become stoned taking a walk. It was many months before I saw a young male without potglazed eyes.  I learned that one of the functions of Northern Lights School Division was to be a distributor of marijuana. There were few teachers who were not users of marijuana and other drugs. We became very familiar with the harmful effects of pot.

     For at least 40 years marijuana was treated as legal if not compulsory. Thanks to this situation and other reasons it was not difficult to determine that we had to start out own school. Our Lady of the North School is going on its 24th. Year We also became authorities of Pot. When Justin Trudeau became leader of the Liberal Party it was very obvious from the many photos of the leader that he was a pot head.  We were not the only ones in the North who easily identified him as a user.

    The Liberal Party had planned to legalise marijuana at least as far back as Chretien. They said that it would stop natives from going to jail in more numbers than whites.  This was ridiculous because no one was going to jail over marijuana use but many were going to jail over acts caused by personalities warped from from its use.

    Marijuana causes people to be indifferent to the suffering of others. A user just doesn’t care about others. It is not uncommon for people to begin toking up at 12 years old. Now at thirty years plus they can’t understand the concept of compassion and morality including the wrongness of allowing a daughter to be subjected to statutory tape continually.

    Justin Trudeau has a classic pot head personality. . He is indifferent to the suffering of others. Paying $650 million  to force abortion on African mothers to insist that his Attorney General lie and distort the law he , with the help of his staff expects her to have no more scruples than they.  He has no moral compass and expects others to act the same.

    He has no sense of occasion . Everything is a performance but the script is confused. Yes, it is appropriate to an East Indian family to dress as a wedding party if there is an East Indian wedding.. No, it is not appropriate for the Prime Minister and his family to do so.

    Like other cannabis users he has difficulty keeping his commitments . No, he does not want to attend the House of Commons on a daily basis . Once a week is enough for him . Two debates in the middle of an election are enough for him.  Others need a few weeks of holidays each year. He will take eleven holidays at public expense.  He has the classic lazy selfish personality of every regular pot user.

    The heroic Louis Riel was judged to be sane because he knew right from wrong. The priests and others were trying to ssve his life by claiming he was insane. He chose to be considered sane , rather than spend his life in a mental hospital.  Thus Louis Riel was hung for treason.

    Marijuana use causes self- inflicted mental illness. Justin Trudeau is not likely to be hung.  Canadians are much too polite for that. But isn’t it time for the electorate to determine that this guy is nuts and an embarrassment. Canada deserves better. Gay,

   

Day 2 of the Marijuana Wars

    It is the second day of the legalisation of marijuana, after 50 years of the unofficial acceptance of marijuana in the North.  It is 2 AM and I can’t sleep due to stinging eyes and a painful throat caused by the neighbours’ marijuana. This is a common occurrence in the summer but now the marijuana users have to toke up all night to prove what a wonderful time they are having.  Yesterday THE GLOBE AND MAIL , officially Liberal since 1867and usually liberal,  had an excellent article of the psychotic factor of marijuana users particularly in the Swedish military. John passed it on to his contacts. I made a poster in screaming orange bristol board with my best primary printing that read: Poison with skull and cross bones symbol reading : Marijuana causes mental illness, memory loss, brain damage, violence and sterility. I waterproofed the poster with clear packing tape. We put it on the telephone pole in the corner of our property. Today I plan to make another poster for another location .

    Homes of non- marijuana users are inundated with marijuana smoke of users who believe they now have a right to usurp the authority of the owner . People trying hard not to drink have to live in a confusing cloud of poison smoke.
    Every year The Northern Lights School uses the trump card that THEY have Hallowe’en parties and WE don’t. Actually we do have Holy Evening ,aka Hallowed  Eve .aka Hallowe’en .treats distribution and have an ALL SAINTS event after the sugar jag and adult drunk is over. But it is quite true we don’t have tax funded dope and booze for the adults and against the children who have to breathe this stuff and navigate through the resulting confusion.

    In the summer of 2015 there was massive evacuation from the North due to Wild Fires. We were part of that event as we were blocked from our home for two weeks.  The smoke was easier to handle than the marijuana fog of this week.

    Quebec has put the  legalisation age at 21 years instead of 19 years. Ontario states that one can only buy marijuana through the mail and refuses to open pot- head stores. Prime Minister Trudeau is furious. He says this will create a “ black market.” According to the Liberal Cannabis Act the provinces can regulate the law. Obviously Saskatchewan should put the legal age of use at 93 years.   We have  had 50 years of marijuana protection and promotion. We should be compensated by a massive education programme to teach the true harmful effects os marijuana. Any regulations should be enforced by the RCMP vigorously . The CBC should be forced , from their existing budget,  to  create effective ads such as those against cigarette usage They should have massive true programmes to compensate for their inane “oh isn’t it exiting !! “ Trudeau slobbering of this week.

    It is time  the true nature of education in the North should be exposed. The low or non- existing standards are hidden by sociological excuses, cultural drivel, inflated marks  and social passing. The fact is marijuana has created the educational mess as it has permeated ( almost)every school including of course NORTEP.  Above all, the furious and illegal attacks on educational choice must stop.  Gay

Government: biggest racketeer going

    Salinger, Premier of Manitoba, has made the government position on marijuana very clear. Marijuana is about more money for the government. He says if marjuana is legal he wants it sold in liquor board stores. Once again the government gets to be the biggest racketeer going. Gambling is bad, but if the governmnet does it , its okey.  Killing is bad and exploiting women is bad but if the government brutally aborts babies, physically and psychologically harming women its okey. Suicide is bad but if its done with the help of medicare its therapy.

    No one is seriously looking at the harmful effects of marijuana. Yet they have been known for a long time. The mission was given boxes of Readers Digests from the 70's and 80's. In every way they were superior to todays’ issues. They had many documented stories of dangers of marijuana. Why the silence now? There was a very effective poster sent to Reserve Health Clinics 20 years ago on the effects of marijuana to various parts of the body. Why no posters or pamphlets about marijuana in clinics now? The product hasn’t got safer. The human body hasn’t changed. But the censorship of the truth of pot has become almost total.

    It is very easy to determine the harmful effects of marijuana. Just visit northern Saskatchewan long enough to really listen to what people are suffering.  Northern Saskatchewan has the highest crime rate per capita than anywhere else in Canada. How come? For forty years the DNS gurus made drugs not only legal but virtually mandatory.  The police weren’t chalking up crime rates over people toking up.  Last year there were 65 murders. That’s not counting the murders that were dismissed as suicides or the ones done by staff in hospitals.

    Mark Romanow of Youth Services in La Ronge for twenty years has been telling people that marijuana causes violence including murders yet people still persist in believing that pot makes one peaceful and loving and full of flower power.

    Once marijuana becomes legal the government will never seriously reexamine its harmful effects because it will have a vested financial interest in keeping the cash flowing through taxes and their very own drugs and booze joints.  There will have to be more police more mental health services, more costs of  vehicle and industrial accidents, more children in foster homes and more people on welfare instead of working. In the long run the cost of legalising marijuana will far out weigh the boost to government coffers.  Not only do people like Salinger and Justin have a death wish , they are in a compulsive hurry to destroy us and this country.  Not only does Justin have a passion for assisted suicide he wants to assist Canada and the Family into suicide.

    Marijuana kills. It kills your conscience. It kills your thinking process. It kills compassion. It kills your body’s functions includig reproduction.  It leads people to depression and suicide even without help.   Stop, think, examine the evidence. Stop the rush to legalise poison.  Gay

Pot Stuff and Nonsense exposed

JMJ Aug.06,2014 The Feast of the Annunciation, Let’s explore a few myths and facts about marijuana MYTH: Marijuana is now legal. FACT: Marijuana is not legal even though Junior ( aka Justin Trudeau) uses and advocates it. To make it legal he has to win an election, then pass a bill through the House of Commons and the Senate. None of that has happened and none may never happen including his bid to be Prime Minister of Canada. His party is having increasing difficulty to raise funds after his attack on freedom of conscience, political freedom and freedom of expression of those who work for the sanctity of human life. MYTH: Marijuana does not cause violence. It is only that it is illegal so users have stress to get it that causes violence. FACT: A great many people are not even aware that it is illegal especially in northern Saskatchewan where high paying government people have practised that they are a law on themselves and are very much part of the marijuana market and use. VIOLENCE INCREASES AS MARIJUANA USE INCREASES. It not only leads to other drugs but is dangerous in itself. The first thing that happens when used is the ability to empathise and to sympathise with others is killed in the brain. Users immediately become indifferent to the suffering of others. THEY DON”T CARE THAT THEY DON”T CARE. Many murders have been caused by marijuana users including the recent murder of three Royal Canadian Mounted Police. MYTH: Marijuana has medical purposes. FACT: There is no valid medical use for marijuana. That was just a red herring or excuse to advocate its legalisation as admitted by a leading British pot pusher. There is no disease that marijuana doesn’t make worse including everything from a cold to flu to diabetes to AIDS to cancer and more. The reason is marijuana weakens and destroys the immune system. It causes respiratory problems, and makes one indifferent to good health practices such as exercise, good nutrition and compliance with a treatment regime. Glaucoma , bleeding of the eye, was once treated with marijuana. It is now proven to make the condition worse. MARIJUANA CAN CAUSE BLINDNESS. MYTH: Marijuana helps people get off alcohol and/or harmful drugs. FACT: Marijuana leads people to other drugs and alcohol. It creates a condition in which the resolve to end bad habits is destroyed. Alcohol is far more dangerous when consumed with marijuana because a person is less likely to throw up leading to alcohol poisoning and suffocation. MYTH: Marijuana helps stabilise people with mental problems. FACT: Marijuana contributes or causes mental illness. It creates lethargy , erratic performance and violence. Responsibility to oneself and others is diminished leading to absenteeism at work and school, financial irresponsibility and accidents. That will do for now. Gay

The Case Against Marijuana

    It greatly shocked me when MACLEAN’S magazine came out in support of marijuana. There is no serious problem in the North that marijuana does not cause or exasperate whether its vehicle or industrial accidents, poor educational standards,absenteeism and indifference at work or school, burgeoning welfare rolls, no desire to work, poor or non- existent marriages and families, health epidemics including diabetes and TB, other drug and alcohol addictions, violent and non- violent crimes and more.
    The official line of the Liberal Party is one can reduce crime by making marijuana illegal. Ergo one less crime, one less reason for courts and jail. Marijuana feeds on all other criminal activity and creates a milieu of irresponsibility, selfishness, contempt for one self and others. disrespect for  parents, teachers and police.  It creates individuals and communities who are non- functioning, dependent and irresponsible.

     “ MARIJUANA IS VERY DANGEROUS

        A Highly Deceptive Drug    
Marijuana (also called pot) is highly deceptive because each joint that is smoked affects the body for one month. Since pot acts so slowly its great harm is often not apparent.

    The slow action occurs because the intoxicating chemical in pot, called THC dissolves readily in fat but cannot dissolve in water or in the blood. THC is carried ineffectively by the blood, and so it leaves the blood rapidly to be stored in fatty tissues. Very little of the  THC absorbed into the blood of the lungs reaches the brain at the time of the “ high.” Consequently THC appears to be mild even though it is extremely potent.
   
    The THC stored in body fat is gradually released back to the blood over many weeks. When pot is smoked regularly a large supply of THC accumulates in the fat. This produces a high steady level of the THC in the blood which causes continued sedation. The brain is numbed. The mind is in a fog.
   
    Kids often think that pot is harmless fun, and play around with it. They do not realize that THC is building up in their bodies and is gradually dragging them into a trap. Their minds become so confused that many are caught in a life of drug abuse. It is difficult to escape, because regular pot smokers must quit pot for over a month before they can think clearly again.

    The Stepping Stone to Other Drugs
   
Since THC is continually in the body the “ high” from pot gradually diminishes, and so pot smokers usually take other drugs to get a kick. Nevertheless, they continue to smoke pot so they use the other drugs, because they think pot makes them “ feel good all the time.” Most pot smokers drink alcohol heavily and many become so confused that they take cocaine or heroin.
   
     When a teenage consumes excessive alcohol he normally gets sick and vomits. However THC stops nausea, and so a regular pot smoker can hold down a deadly dose if alcohol without getting sick. Therefore the basic cause of teenage alcohol overdose is marijuana. Before pot became widely used teenage death from alcohol was extremely rare.
        Not all pot smokers use cocaine of heroin, but almost no one takes these drugs who has not used marijuana extensively. Without pot smoking there would be no demand for cocaine or heroin.
                   
   Marijuana is Very Harmful by Itself


    Because pot operates so slowly, its damage is often attributed to other drugs the pot smokers use. Nevertheless medical evidence has proven that marijuana is highly dangerous,
in  and of itself. It seriously harms the brain, the chromosomes, the sex and reproductive organs, the hormones, the lungs, and the immune systems.
    Teenagers are particularly vulnerable because pot smoking can delay and even halt the process of sexual development

   Pot Today is Extremely Potent

    In recent years much more potent varieties of marijuana have been developed. In 1970
 most pot had about 1% THC and the best stuff had 3%. Typical street pot today contains 12% and some has 25% . The potency increase has made marijuana much more dangerous.
   
   Why is the Marijuana Issue Confused ?

    Drug lords make hundreds of billions of dollars each year from cocaine and heroin. They are obviously spending huge sums in disguised advertising and influence to support their products.
   
    Drug lords know that marijuana is the stepping stone to cocaine and heroin. As long as they can deceive kids into believing that pot is harmless , many will try it. From these pot smokes come a steady supply of new recruits to replace the cocaine and heroin addicts who have been destroyed.

    Many people naively support legalization of marijuana because they think this will reduce drug profits. They do not realize that drug lords want to legalize pot to increase the supply of cocaine and heroin addicts. Since pot is cheap to grow, profits from it are much less than from cocaine and heroin.

 Marijuana is Bad Medicine

    There is no legitimate need for marijuana in medicine. Pills containing THC are already available with a physician’s prescription . The legalization of raw marijuana for medicine is merely an indirect means of legalizing pot for recreational use.
   
    Cancer patients receiving chemotherapy often die from infection because chemotherapy weaken’s the body’s immune defenses. THC reduces the nausea experienced by chemotherapy patients but can be dangerous to these patients because THC also damages the immune system.

   Scientific Evidence against Marijuana

    In the 1970's the U.S. National Institute on Drug Abuse ( NIDA) supported extensive research on marijuana, which proved that marijuana is highly dangerous.
   
    About 1980 NIDA cancelled this excellent research and since then has not supported any marijuana study of significance. It seems likely that propaganda from cocaine and heroin dealers has discouraged the support of meaningful marijuana research.
