The bishops endorse part of the Truth

JMJ
June 27,2011

I have before me a letter with the Archbishop of Regina letter head. It was addressed to Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ. Although it wasn’t addressed to us it seemed that we qualified to read the letter.
    “ March 30,2011
We the Roman Catholic Bishops of Saskatchewan are pleased to affirm that the Resource Binder entitled “Caring for Students and Staff :Creating an Atmosphere of Trust and Respect Around Issues of Sexual Orientation” created by the SCSBA ( Saskatchewan Catholic School Board Association)is a faithful expression of the love and concern that the  Church has for all its young people regardless of their sexual orientation. It clearly recognizes the Catholic teaching and tradition regarding sexual morality and also our obligation, as expressed in the Catechism of the Catholic Church, that people with same sex inclination “must be accepted with respect, compassion and sensitivity. Every sign of unjust discrimination in their regard should be avoided" ( CCC 2358) Therefore we authorize the use of this resource binder in the Catholic Schools within our jurisdiction.

We further acknowledge that Appendix A of the resource binder continues to reflect views of the present Roman Catholic Bishops of Saskatchewan.”
Signed : four bishops, signatures all the same size, colour of inkd, darkness and two not beside their right names. We can assume that these signatures were rubber stamped.
We asked for this binder. You might like to as well. Tel: 306-352 -1651.
As suspected this is a national and international  push to get the Church endorsing an agenda which is neither Catholic, educationallly sound, logical or moral.
How does one become a student with homosexual inclination? The obvious answer is participating or wishing to participate a homosexual activity. To participate in sexual desire and practice outside of marriage is a mortal sin . It would seem that the students and teachers need a solid teaching on the Ten Commandments and the regular Sacrament of Confession. They need an environment that is not an occasion for sin. No books, movies, discussion groups that would endorse sexual immorality of any kind.
There also needs to be an ongoing vigilance so that the serious sin of sexual exploitation is avoided. Section 2389 of the Catholic Catechism states “Connected to incest is any sexual abuse perpretated by adults or children of adolsecents entrusted to their care. The offense is compounded by the scandalous harm done to the physical and moral integrity of the young, who will remain scarred by it all their lives; and the violation of responsibility for their upbringing.”
A pro- abortionist said as long as we concentrate on the women and not the baby we will win the argument. If they concentrated on the baby we will lose. In the homosexual debate isn’t it time to concentrate on the victims or potential victims: minors in the military, children in day care, schools and sports, young, ambitious recruits in the RCMP , victims in our jails and prisons, children violated in their own homes by older siblings, parents or foster parents.  All these situations have become an increased opportunity of exploitation of the weak by the stronger. The more homosexuality appears to be approved the more others are exploited . We cannot ignore the necessity of protecting others from people whose sexual appetites have not been harnessed.  Gay
