On May 14, 1969 Pierre Trudeau began his career as Prime Minister. His first bill was the Omnibus Bill that decriminalised homosexuality, made divorce legal, legalised contraception , sterilisation and abortion. One cabinet minister, Paul Martin Sr. resigned because as a Catholic he could not support legalised abortion. All those things in that bill were contrary to the teaching of the Catholic Church, a Faith held at that time by most Canadians. All these things are still contrary to the teaching of the Catholic Church.
Pierre Trudeau went on to liberalise abortion more and more. Hospital committees were rubber stamping abortion and sterilisations. The hospital committees were disbanded for the charade that they were. Abortion on demand became the reality. Trudeau was pressured by an abortionist in Montreal, Mr. Morgentaler, a fraud doctor who had had three years of medical school. Morgentaler wrote him a letter, preserved and exposed in MACLEAN’S magazine., that stated Trudeau was to get him out of jail because his cabinet ministers were using his clinic for their mistresses and his cousin, Dr. Trudeau was referring patients to his clinic. In short Morgentaler was blackmailing Trudeau to continue support of his abortuary.
Many, many times Trudeau acted outside of democracy and outside the House of Commons. He used government by fiat: much like a Yul Brinner in THE KING AND I: “ So let it be said!. So let it be done!” These were called Orders in Council. That is how Canada got rid of the death penalty, a move which greatly increased murders and other crimes.
Millions and millions of lives of Canadians would have been saved and many souls would have been saved if the Catholic Church in Canada had excommunicated Pierre Trudeau immediately after the Omnibus Bill. The Church leadership did not move. It did not particularly lead the protest against abortion although many Catholic lay people did take up the fight . The Catholic Women’s League presented a petition of a million names against abortion.
This week his son Prime Minister elect Justin Trudeau ( aka Junior ) made public, orders that his appointed Minister of Health was to draw up guidelines for Assisted Suicide. There is a Chairman and Committee in place to conduct public hearings on the issue in the wake of the Supreme Court Decision. If it had not been for Pierre Trudeau the Supreme Court would have never had the power to make any such decision. Junior has totally sidestepped the public, the hearings and Parliament . He has said before he ever warmed his chair on the government side of the House of Commons that there will be Assisted Suicide whether Parliament or the Canadian people like it or not.
Then after letting the media, us and his Cabinet Minister know what is the Will of the State in the best Louis XIV tradition “ L’ Etat, c’est moi.” he is bouncing off to the International Scene to wow others with his looks and his pot eyes.
Junior has already made his International mark. Stephen Harper was a leader in the fight against ISIS, the Muslim Terrorists . Since Harper was defeated and Trudeau became PM with a promise to end defence tactics against Terrorist Extremists, the ISIS have become more bold and more bloody. There has been 6 terrorist acts in Paris killing hundreds of civilians. ISIS knew which Prime Minister they wanted and they got him
The Catholic Church in Canada has an opportunity to correct an error made on a Trudeau in 1969. It is time to tell Junior, withdraw moves towards Assisted Suicide immediately or be excommunicated. Gay

ISIS and the Viet Nam War Revisited

In 1970-71 the Socialist take- over of academe was in full swing at the University of Saskatchewan.. The issues were the most effective tactics to make the socialist revolution. The debate was between various factions of the left. The conservative element on campus was silenced and/or ignored.
One of the more seemingly mainstream issues was the end of the Vietnam War. The Trotskyists were an organised cadre of communists who had their own newspaper, THE YOUNG SOCIALIST. Their job was the classic Lenin strategy of building common fronts in which non- socialists would work with them to build a movement on specifi issues. Thus they would get clergy, elected officials, service groups and youth to join them. These people would not realise that they were being manipulated by a Communist personnel and a Communist agenda . The Communists would recruit and re- programme these people by association in the movement.
Richard Thompson, Trotskist, would calmly, logically, stand and proclaim that the rallying cry would be “ Withdraw U.S.A. troops Now”. People would accept the message that the United States troops should get out of Viet Nam now.
In the meeting would be ultra- leftists or new leftists who did not like discipline, private strategies before the public organisation meeting, had not read Lenin and did not want to take orders from someone who had. They wanted a lifestyle that was bein up- front, bold, and shocking. One of the many self proclaimed individualists would stand up and argue that the slogan should be “ Victory to the NLF” , that is victory to the Communist, Soviet backed Viet Cong.
Thompson, short haired, moderately dressed would logically, calmly, go over the same arguments, arrive at the same conclusion, and not budge an inch.
Another ultra- leftist would argue for the Jane Fonda approach, Victory to the North Viet Nam Communists. Thompson would repeat his steel performance. The scenario would be repeated again and again. The moderate sounding “ Withdraw U.S. Troops Now” slogan would win and the Chaplins office would help defray the cost of the demonstration. The city police would protect the march. No such word of communist organisers and communist goals would be in THE SHEAF or THE SASKATOON STAR PHOENIX. As for THE YOUNG SOCIALIST this was a socialist movement , not communist, not mentioning that Lenin too called himself a socialist not a communist.
In 1975, the United States did withdraw from South Viet Nam. Communists from North Viet Nam swooped down, slaughtering millions of civilians.confiscating or destroying property, businesses, farms, and places of worship. People fled in rickety, fishing boats to face pirates, rape , murder on the Pacific Ocean as they attempted to reach the western shore of Canada and the United States.
Mulcair and Justin are not asking or demanding Victory to ISIS. They are campaigning for the withdrawal of Canadian troops from Iraq, and the repeal of recent security legislation. The Trotskyists, funded by the Soviet Union sounded moderate, but were effective in bringing about a Viet Cong victory . Likewise today, Mulcair and Justin sound moderate but are essentially working for an ISIS victory which will multiply the slaughter and push more refugees out into the sea. Gay

Religious Persecution Alive and Spreading

Due to arthritis, my husband, John, has not been able to kneel in church for over a year. Last week he knelt three times, at the Consecration, after receiving Communion and at the final blessing. Afterwards I was rejoicing with others as to how well he was doing. A young man came up and said “ You are suppose to worship ‘in communion’. The Parish Council decided that we don’t kneel here.”
Firstly Parish Councils are optional structures. Canon Law states that “ you may have parish councils”, not you MUST have parish councils. They do not have the authority to rule in matters of conscience nor to rule outside of obedience or permission from Rome . There is only one reason NOT to kneel , that is to dismiss the actual presence of Jesus in the Eucharist. If you don’t believe that Jesus is really present there is no point to the Mass or the Priesthood. The same few who made this ruling also believe that a priest is optional and therefore Confession is optional. They are using the Church to create their own religion where Community replaces community because of Christ. As usual they are attempting to impose their views on others by coercion. This is religious persecution.
A rural Ukrainian Catholic parish went to the Ukraine and paid for a priest. Bishop Baydadoes not allow this priest to say Mass outside his home.. The reason: He does things like say Thanks Ukrainian style in public, stand up, bow ,cross yourself three times. He goes to a local pilgrimmages bare feet. He and his wife met in Siberia where their families were banished by the Communists due to Christian practice. They heard Canada allows religious freedom. Not only that, we used to fight for it. This is religious persecution of the priest and of the parishes who need him.
This priest said to me a few years ago “ I think that we will have Communism in Canada in three or four years. I said “ well ,actual things are getting better.” We could however reverse the restoration of Canada to the Canada of freedom, opportunity and strength by voting in the Mulcair- Justin team.
The Lib- NDP view is Canada should not oppose ISIS, the terrorist extremist movement from recruiting, promoting and practising their hate and violence here and abroad. Millions are fleeing from ISIS to save their lives. Many die in the attempt. The beheadings, the genocide, the glorification of their actions on the Internet are okey with this Looney Left combo. The Conservatives want to help protect the world and Canada from ISIS. They do not.
Religious persecution won’t end with a few incidents here and there. It will be total. The Bible, as is, will be banned. Catholic schools will not be Catholic. Sexual child abuse will be promoted from grades Kto 12 as it is in Liberal- run Ontario. Moderate muslims may be killed by ISIS vigilantes in their own mosques. The lives of women and girls will be at the mercy of their husbands, sons and brothers who can kill them at will if it is explained that it is a cultural practice.
On Oct 19 the Church traditionally remembers St. Jean de Brebeuf who was tortured and killed by pagan Iroquois as was their cultural practice. On Oct.19 we can choose to vote in religious persecution or choose to vote to preserve freedom of conscience and religion. Gay

O Canada, We stand on guard for thee.

Canada is at war. It is not of our choosing nor of our initiative. Islamic terrorists have made attacks for years on civilians in and out of Canada. An Islamic terrorist killed a Canadian soldier guarding a war memorial on Parliament Hill. Then went into the Parliament Buildings to kill our Prime Minister and Members of Parliament. He was shot by the ceremonial Sergeant- at- Arms. Another Extremist drove into a group of Canadian soldiers and killed one. In the recent past there has been attempts to blow up the Parliament Building and kill the Prime Minister. Terrorist groups like ISIS are recruiting Canadian youth to join their international war against Christians, Jews , fellow Muslims, and anyone who stands in their way. ISIS brags that they will kill the Pope. France, Britain, United States, Spain, Kenya, Nigeria, and many Muslim countries have or are experiencing their massive onslaughts of terror and slaughter.
Syria has Christian communities that date back 1800 years before northern Saskatchewan heard the Gospel. Today to be a Christian in Syria means flight or certain death. Two million refugees have fled their country. Christians have been crucified en mass. That was too slow. ISIS goes into a community. It is convert to their way or be beheaded. Many thousands have chosen martyrdom. In Iraq Muslims praying in a mosque are also murdered because they are not sufficiently “ ISIS pure”.
How can we Canadians protect our own country, our own freedoms, our own institutions unless we take a stand? The Prime Minister and our government understand this. Our soldiers are training Kurdish soldiers to fight ISIS. The government passed the Anti-Terrorism Act to protect us at home and to stop being a recruitment and training centre for this international terror.
Incredibly Mulcair and Junior T. are on the side of ISIS. They want Canada to stop opposing ISIS and other Muslim Extremist Terrorist groups. If one does not stand against active terrorism then objectively one becomes a supporter of that terrorism.
Mulcair and Junior plus their NDP and Liberal Caucus were threatened by the Terrorist who entered the Parliament Building after killing a Canadian soldier. This is their personal fight. They will not fight. They will not let others fight. If they can’t be moved to fight for the safety of Parliament and even their own lives, how can they possibly care about yours and mine? How can they possibly care if Christians are beheaded, school girls are kidnapped, moderate Muslims can’t pray in safety?
Part of the threat of Muslim extremism must include politicians who choose ideology over reality, comfort over responsibility. The NDP- Lib have no solution to terrorism except to ignore it and pretend it will go away. That is the Culture of Death writ large. Gay
